1、 If your printed material adopts a cross page design, it means that the image or text on one page will span across the next book sticker. At this time, the staff of the graphic and text fast printing store should first determine the position of the paper feeding guide and the paper picking teeth in the factory, and then place the material as close to that area as possible. In addition, try not to split a text into two book stickers for printing.
2、 Always maintain a bleeding rate of 1/16 inch (for live parts that require simple cutting) or 1/8 inch (for other live parts). Any image that exceeds the cutting line must have a certain margin (usually 3mm) left outside the cutting line, so that people can correct minor inaccuracies during trimming. This margin is called bleeding in the graphic and text printing industry. Therefore, when cutting a pile of pages, increasing the amount of bleeding appropriately can improve the cutting quality of the entire live part.
3、 If the printing file you send requires die cutting processing, it is best to store the die lines in a separate layer. In this way, the printing factory can turn off this layer in the file before printing. In addition, if the sample you receive has already been printed with die lines, make sure to let your printing factory know that these lines do not need to be printed. This may sound simple, but there are indeed many people who cannot do it.
4、 There are many visually stunning papers on the market now, but before losing their judgment due to them, graphic and text printing staff need to determine whether the paper they choose can achieve the desired printing effect. Some papers may be too thick to be folded multiple times; Some paper may not be suitable for UV coating, some paper may take a long time to completely dry, and some paper can only be coated with water-based coating, otherwise it will be damaged by the binding equipment.
